We have been busy at the property preparing the way for new people to fall in love with it as we have.
Here are some of the improvements we have done to the property since acquiring it:
- added a solar powered well pump, and 12,000 gallon storage container, with a high capacity access port for our friends at Cal-Fire (just down the street from the property).
- graded and gravel paved the entrance road from route 140
- extensively graded (through bedrock!) and gravel paved an access road to the much larger Lower Meadow
- worked closely with the County to develop our “Conditional Use Permit”
- completed pre-event production for several events that had to be cancelled very late in their planning process, due to unusual weather events, and Pandemic related issues.
- held a number of work parties, largely focused on site cleanup related to dead trees and cleanup of fallen timber. We will likely have freely available firewood for many seasons to come!
